MY WEEK WITH MAISY (Post Production)

LOGLINE

Mrs Foster, a retired, middle-class Daily Mail reader, whose cup is half empty, is starting chemotherapy and is understandably anxious. The last thing she needs, is to have to share the treatment room with a 'know it all child' who wants to grow up to be a lesbian! But through an unexpected friendship, Maisy Jones gives Mrs Foster much more than just a glimmer of hope.

BIRTHDAY SURPRISE (2019)

A COMEDY MICRO SHORT

As part of the 'Collective - Script to Screen' competition created by Award-Winning American Filmmaker Matty Brown. In this competition, Matty produces a loose 2 page script. We (at Clever Little Films HQ) then HAVE TO use a minimum of 10 exact lines from the script—and then adapt and embellish to create our own story. So, we could've gone down any route... but we felt it was about time for a comedy! Oh, and of course not forgetting... the whole thing has to be under two minutes in length!

LOGLINE

The Sergeant of a Special Forces team finds a bomb that he has less than 2mins to defuse. Unfortunately, for him.... his unfocused and rather infatuated Corporal is on hand to help!

REVIEWS

UK FILM REVIEW

'The movie’s strength lies firmly in the believability of its characters and their actions. This is the result of very well-written characters, a near-perfect script and some damn fine acting to boot.'

INDIE SHORTS MAG

'Unlike other short films, ‘Blood Means Nothing’ offers the taste of a mainstream cinema. Acting by Lauren Logan and the remainder of the cast deserve a thumps up. Camera and Editing  by Clever Little Films (UK) is impeccable.'
